DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Location: Remote with some travel
Salary: Depending on experience and skillset
Graphyte is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to join our team. Our company is growing rapidly, and we need a leader who can manage our corporate information technology infrastructure, network systems, and device management across multiple manufacturing facilities. We utilize the Microsoft Stack, including Office 365 and Azure, and require someone proficient in both Windows and Apple operating systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Information Technology Management: Managing and directing the Company’s information technology applications, operations, infrastructure, and strategic direction

Network Infrastructure: Manage and maintain network infrastructure across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring security of data, network access, backup systems, and disaster recovery

Device Management: Oversee the management of all devices, including Mac, Windows, and mobile devices, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and security

Azure Access and Permissions: Experience implementing plantwide architecture

Microsoft Stack Expertise: Utilize expertise in Office 365, Azure, Windows, and Apple operating systems to support the company’s IT needs

Device Security and Monitoring: Implement and maintain robust device security measures and monitoring systems to protect company data and assets

Single Sign-On (SSO): Develop and manage SSO solutions using Microsoft as the primary Identity Provider (IDP) for external applications wherever feasible

Local Network Security: Ensure the security of local networks at all company facilities, protecting against unauthorized access and threats

Integrations with Payroll/HRIS Software: Integrate payroll and HRIS software with Microsoft Azure/Entra to establish a single source of truth for employee information. This includes building automations, distribution lists, and other activities based on managerial hierarchies

Project Development: Active participant in the full implementation of Information Technology projects, including Enterprise Resource Planning replacement, warehouse management system, E-Commerce, and business intelligence

QUALIFICATIONS ​

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proven experience in a senior information technology management role, preferably within a startup or fast-growing company

Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Stack, including Office 365 and Azure

Proficiency in managing Windows and Apple operating systems

Experience with network management and device management (MDM) for Mac, Windows, and mobile devices

In-depth understanding of device security and monitoring best practices

Experience implementing and managing SSO solutions with Microsoft IDP

Knowledge of local network security practices

Familiarity with integrating payroll/HRIS software with Microsoft Azure/Entra

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment​
