QUALITY TECHNICIAN

The Quality Technician will be responsible for quality control within the Graphyte Processing Facility in Pine Bluff Arkansas. This will include daily quality testing and data gathering for production output parameters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize all PPE and safety procedures to ensure a safe operating environment for yourself and others

  • Perform quality control measurements on a regular schedule to ensure production is meeting quality targets

  • Utilize equipment such as leak detectors, ovens, balances to meet testing specifications

  • Gather and analyze data to ensure recordkeeping of quality metrics is complete

  • Communicate issues to production team and plant manager to ensure production is stopped to address quality concerns

  • Organizing and prioritizing workload to produce results efficiently

  • As needed, perform testing to troubleshoot quality issues

QUALIFICATIONS â€‹

  • Bachelors degree in scientific field including chemistry, materials science, biology, agriculture, industrial technology

  • Laboratory experience taking measurements, working with scientific equipment, summarizing results

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Ability to urgently communicate issues or concerns to individuals at all levels of the organization 

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-changing environment.

  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word
