Graphyte hosted a ribbon cutting at its Loblolly Facility in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on April 11, 2024 to mark its official opening.
Community leaders, including members of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce Redcoats, Economic Development Alliance of Jefferson County, and Mayor Shirley Washington, took a guided tour of the warehouse where carbon is cast into brick-sized blocks, followed by a catfish and chicken lunch.
The project is the largest carbon removal plant in the world, with plans to remove 50k tons by next year.
